Andrew R Martin is a British photographer and freelance writer from the Midlands.

​

Having trained in Geography at university, Andrew has since worked in the conservation sector for a number of years — meaning themes of nature and wildlife regularly feature in his writing. He also has a strong interest in culture & lifestyle, writing content on travel, photography, music, and cinema.

These diverse interests have seen him write pieces ranging from travelogues marked by characteristic self-deprecating humour, to personal and introspective explorations of morality and mental health.

He is currently in the process of producing his first non-fiction book.

Andrew's photography specialises in the use of traditional black & white film — with subjects usually focusing on cityscapes, society, and the urban environment.
